Silent battle tours alone or with the Eyes of Freedom
Silent Battle often partners with the Eyes of Freedom traveling memorial (see paintings above). When Silent Battle comes to your community, we provide an experience of honor and healing for ALL who have lost their lives or are suffering due to service to our nation. We embrace all who have been affected by post traumatic stress moral injury and suicide.
The touring exhibition of Miller's work, the EYES OF FREEDOM has been traveling the country since 2008 honoring the service and sacrifice of all who answer our Nation's call. We have displayed in over 37 states at 400 venues. We provide a meeting place for those who have lost a loved one to suicide due to their service. In the photo above these survivors take part in a ritual cleaning of the sculpture to get it ready for display. We invite survivors and those who have lost their loved one to participate in this experience privately before we open our doors to the public. Its another example of the many ways that art heals and comforts without words.
